The Successful Entrepreneur Mic Alexander

Mic Alexander is a highly successful entrepreneur, business advisor, emotional intelligence coach and author. She is the Mecklenburg County Business Advisor for the Carolina Small Business Development Fund – A small business lender and the President of Image Wealth – an emotional intelligence and leadership development training company.

She is passionate about the mental health of entrepreneurs and other professionals as they move through the various stages of success, From 1990 – 2007, she built The Overflow Corporation, from a $25,000 deficit to a multi-million dollar commercial printing firm.

Transition and Change

The transition of the economy in 2007/08 resulted in the premature sale of the business. After being certified in Processing/Coaching and briefly relocating to Europe; she returned to the US and founded Image Wealth Management, a company which offers specialized coaching and training services focused on improving team effectiveness and leadership development.

Blazing a Trail for Success

In 2014 she became one of the first United States Citizens to be certified in Emotional Intelligence (EI) by the International Society for Emotional Intelligence (ISEI). She is the creator of the Image Wellness SYSTEM for Success, the Fan Your Flame 20-40-60 Day Challenge, and Author of Image is Power. Ms. Alexander has received numerous business awards such as the Chamber’s Entrepreneur of the Year, the Business Journal’s Women in Business Award and the Largest Minority Business Award to name a few. She is a member of the International Society for Emotional Intelligence, a founding member of the Foundation for the Carolinas’ Women’s Impact Fund and a guest teacher at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
