FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are letters and phone calls available?
Yes, members will receive up to 40 letters or phone calls on the provider law firms behalf per year. They will be able to use up to 3 in any given month.
Are documents and contracts reviewable?
Yes, members can have up to 40 documents/contracts reviewed per year, up to 25 pages in length (limit of 10 per month). If members exceed 10 per month, or 40 per year, they will be able to continue to use the feature at a flat fee of $75 per document or contract reviewed. Documents and contracts balances do not roll over.
Are collection letters and phone calls available?
Yes, members are allowed up to 15 collection letters or phone calls per month. Any phone call or letter beyond the 15 collection letters or phone calls limit will be serviced at a flat fee of $75 per month. Collection letters or phone calls can be used for interstate coverage. Washington members pay $25 for each collection letter included in the plan (15 on Pro Plan) then $75 for each additional collection letter.
What is covered under designated consultation?
Designated consultation is a 30-minute phone consultation that is used for areas of law that require more time. The areas of law addressed under designated consultation are tax, patent, securities, copyright, trademark, intellectual property, antitrust, immigration, interstate and intercountry consultations. The member will receive up to 5 per year. Any designated consultation exceeding 5 will be serviced under the 25% discount from the provider attorney’s hourly rate. Note: For members in Washington the first 3 Designated Consultations per year cost $200 per hour.
Are IRS tax audit services available?
Yes. The member will be provided 50 hours of coverage including 5 hours of initial representation for the IRS tax audit services. Coverage for IRS legal services begin with a tax return filed in the same year as the Effective Date of the membership.
